A good time was had by all at the 2010 Annual Conference Breakfast, June 14 at the Pheasant Run Resort, St. Charles IL! United Voices for Children… bringing churches and child-serving agencies together to serve and speak for children. UVC Board Vice President Rev. Dr. Daniel Davis greets former UVC Board President Rev. Norval Brown.
Rev. Margaret Ann Williams, UVC Board & Newberry Association, Inc. joins with Rev. Cheryl Magrini, UVC Board Secretary/Treasurer, to greet our guests.   Child Advocates and guests gather in the New Orleans Ballroom at the resort.
Breakfast sharing helps build special bonds of fellowship and purpose. Rev. Dr. Magrini gives the Invocation. UVC Board Members gather cards for Cokesbury bookstore drawing.
And the winner is…..! Rev. Dr. Davis emcees. UVC Board member Rev. Richard Mosley, Jr., introduces the 2010 Child Advocacy Awards.
Rev. Dr. Davis presents 2010 Bishop Jesse R. DeWitt Ward to the Refugee Resettlement Ministry, St. Charles. Members of the Refugee Resettlement Ministry, Baker Memorial UMC. Rev. Mosley, Jr. presents the 2010 Katherine B. Greene Child Worker Award to Cheryl Soderstrom.
Lynne Vass, UVC Board member & Rosecrance, introduces the screening of the new United Voices for Children DVD, Who Will Speak? Rev. Williams recognizes… Representatives from the 2010 Fifth Sunday Leadership Churches!
